Bullrock Energy Ventures is the renewable energy and investment arm of Bullrock, a company founded in 1983. Bullrock began as a real estate management and construction business in the New York City area and later expanded into broader development and investment work in New England. Over time, the platform has developed more than 200 projects, and Bullrock Energy Ventures has developed over 500 MW of solar projects while deploying more than $2 billion in clean energy capital. Its real estate background includes rental apartment conversions, historic rehabilitation, neighborhood redevelopment, commercial renovation, and senior living communities. Since 2020, the business has also focused heavily on community solar and related renewable energy assets, particularly across New York, New England, and other Northeastern markets. In 2025, Bullrock and Apollo announced a $220 million joint venture, including $100 million to help fund Bullrock’s nearly 500 MW renewable energy pipeline.
