Dacra was founded in 1987 and has operated for over 38 years as of 2025. It has developed more than 2 million square feet of built real estate, with an upcoming fourth phase in the Miami Design District expected to add an additional 1 million square feet. The company focuses on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Its completed work includes major developments in South Beach’s Art Deco District, Lincoln Road, and the New Urbanist AQUA community on Allison Island. Dacra leads the expansion of the Miami Design District, an 18‑square‑block, LEED‑certified creative neighborhood featuring flagship retail, restaurants, museums, and public art programs. More recently, in 2021 it partnered with Brookfield Asset Management and Tesla Energy to develop SunHouse at Easton Park in Austin, Texas, marketed as the U.S.’s most sustainable residential neighborhood. It also made an investment in The Boring Company in 2022.
