At its Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center site, Switch is developing 7.2 million square feet on approximately 2,000 acres, backed by $4 billion in investment and aiming for Tier 5 certification. Switch’s facilities now include “AI factories”—data center facilities designed for extremely high density, powering and cooling over 2 MW per cabinet, with new buildings in Las Vegas approximately 199,000 and 228,000 square feet each.
