LBA Hospitality began when Larry Blumberg opened his first hotel in 1973 and grew into an award‑winning hotel development, management, and consulting company over the subsequent five decades.  Today it manages and develops more than 100 branded hotels across the East, Southeast, and Southwest United States under franchise agreements with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Best Western, IHG, and other major groups. In recent activity, LBA added 8 properties to its management portfolio through BPR Properties, bringing that total to 16, and subsequently expanded the LBA–BPR portfolio to 18 hotels with the recent opening of Homewood Suites in Goldsboro, NC featuring 113 suites.
