The Graham Companies was founded in 1932 when Ernest “Cap” Graham acquired approximately 7,000 acres to launch Graham’s Dairy, which grew into one of Florida’s largest dairy operations. Over 90 years later, the company remains privately held and is a foremost developer in South Florida. The firm is best known for creating and developing Miami Lakes, a master-planned community spanning about 3,000 acres starting in the early 1960s. The company continues to hold the largest land ownership in Miami Lakes across apartment, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and undeveloped holdings. The real estate portfolio includes over 4 million square feet of commercial space, divided among 22 office buildings (totaling ~905,000 ft²), 54 industrial buildings (~1.7 million ft²), 5 convenience shopping centers (~172,000 ft²), mixed-use Town Center space (~216,000 ft²), and 8 land-lease properties (40 acres).
