Mitsui Fudosan America (MFA) is the U.S. subsidiary of Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., and has operated in the U.S. since the 1970s. It also owns nearly 10 million square feet of commercial space, with over 4 million square feet under development, and manages more than 750 hotel rooms. MFA’s development activity spans mixed-use, office, residential, retail and industrial projects. Notable projects include 50 Hudson Yards, a 3 million square foot office tower in New York, and Mission Rock, encompassing 634,000 sq ft of office plus 540 residential units and 104,000 sq ft of retail. MFA recently entered U.S. logistics development via a $500 million joint venture to build or convert industrial properties including a ~596,000 sq ft warehouse in Orange County, CA. In 2025 it added a branch in Dallas to strengthen its presence in Sun Belt markets.
