The Sorbara Group of Companies is a family‑owned, integrated real estate enterprise based in Ontario, with more than 80 years of operation in planning, development, construction, investment and management. The firm oversees current residential projects including low‑rise communities in Barrie, Oshawa and Fergus, and is developing several condominium and mixed‑use sites across the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Golden Horseshoe. Their recent proposals include urban towers comprising 456 suites in Cabbagetown, 1,621 suites across three towers near York University, 946 suites with mixed‑use elements near Downsview, and a large Vaughan redevelopment with approximately 2,290 suites plus 2,700 m² of retail space. Sorbara also provides commercial, industrial and retail development and property management services. Their affiliated construction arm Hady Construction, in operation since 1952, delivered projects such as Toronto’s first strip mall, first McDonald’s, first retail power centre and first residential loft conversion.
